Job description

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full-Time/Part-Time Days (Healthcare)

At Enlightened Recovery, we provide exceptional medical and clinical services. We are seeking LPNs for full-time and part-time day shifts.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing routine care, observing, medicating, and performing withdrawal assessments (COWS, CIWA-A) as needed.
  2. Assisting doctors and registered nurses, and communicating with patients, counselors, and therapists.
  3. Interacting routinely with patients, observing behaviors, and communicating significant observations to the multidisciplinary team.
  4. Assisting RNs in facilitation of admissions and discharge planning.
  5. Collecting and recording patients' vital signs and documenting in the electronic medical record accurately and comprehensively.
  6. Assisting RNs in triage and screening of patients.
  7. Participating in patient treatment planning.
  8. Completing the admissions process, including body search and assessments.
  9. Performing initial nursing assessments (A-1) within 24 hours of patient admission.
  10. Administering medications and engaging in patient education.
  11. Assessing patients' needs for provider consultations, discharge, medications, or illness management.
  12. Supervising and instructing patients in medication self-administration, including injections as ordered by the provider.
