Position Summary

The LPN provides quality nursing care to patients, supporting their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all laws, regulations, and MUSC Health standards. Reports to the Director of Nursing or other nursing supervisor.

Working Conditions

• Participates in continuing education
• Works within the department and throughout the facility
• Subject to interruptions, exposure to infectious waste, and emotionally upset patients
• Works beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Attended an accredited LPN program
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State
• CPR certification required upon hire
• Preferred: 1 year geriatric nursing experience
