The Recovery Village Indianapolis (RVI) is an addiction treatment center with a continuum of care for anyone struggling with substance use disorders. It offers 71 beds, including 15 beds for detox, 34 beds for residential treatment, and 22 beds for Partial Hospitalization Program/Intensive Outpatient Treatment.

Pay Range
Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of duties during their shifts, caring for and educating patients about their medical and psychiatric conditions. Establishing trust and building rapport with patients and their families are key elements of this position.

Works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure success by completing the following:

  • Resolve pending issues from the previous shift, e.g., missed or incomplete labs or treatments, incomplete admissions or discharges, missing data for continuity of care.
  • Conduct compliance audits related to infection control, e.g., glucometer, refrigerator, sharps containers, laboratory cleanliness, pests in facility, hand washing, and flu campaign.
  • Manage medication storage, returns, destruction, and coordinate with pharmacies to resolve medication issues.
  • Order supplies, manage inventory, and maintain/organize supply rooms.
  • Monitor and track lab orders, outside consults, and medical transfers.
  • Coordinate and plan the admission workflow, print requisitions, and ensure samples are properly labeled.
  • Manage Level of Care transfers in AVATAR.
  • Perform administrative functions, e.g., scanning documents into AVATAR, assisting with work schedules, and helping BHTs with observation sheets.
  • Conduct admission and discharge audits, and check the proper completion of nursing procedures to ensure compliance.

FT Day shifts available

Schedule: 3 / 12-hour shifts

Urgently Hiring: FT Days (7 am - 7 pm)
