PrimeCare Medical Inc. is looking for dedicated and hard-working Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work full-time on the evening shift in the medical department at the Chester County Prison located in West Chester, PA. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care and perform duties under the supervision of an RN. We are currently offering a $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS.

Available Shift: Evening Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive nursing care while ensuring the proper flow of relevant information is disseminated to appropriate personnel.
2. Maintain, update, and work with electronic medical records and ensure that they are secure.
3. Maintain accurate records of all controlled substances, narcotics, and sharps in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
4. Conduct sick calls for patients and provide treatment for illnesses and injuries, defined by written protocol and approved by PCM Medical Director.
5. Observe, report, and document symptoms, reactions, and progress of inmates/patients and participate in the formulation of the plan of care.
6. Record, retrieve, and file medical information in the patient medical record.

This position provides a 2-week orientation period where you will be training on-the-job and shadowing with the nursing staff.
