Responsibilities

• Works in multiple clinical settings as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Provides medical services for clients and monitors medical status.
• Documents withdrawal signs and communicates with supervisor or medical director.
• Collaborates with other medical staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Communicates medical concerns to clinical staff and interprets medical information.
• Delivers direct patient care including assessment, orders, and treatment planning.
• Implements public health and screening protocols and documents consultations.

Overview

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. In order to support our mission, Helio Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work on a Part-Time basis for our Forensic ACT program. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide comprehensive treatment to those affected by substance use, mental health, and other behavioral health disorders.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, w/ a flexible Part-Time schedule available.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00/hr.

Responsibilities

• Works in a variety of clinical settings providing medical and counseling services as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
• Provide client services for medical issues.
• Monitors and documents clients' medical status, signs and symptoms of withdrawal and reports to supervisor or medical director.
• Works with other medical staff for continuity of clients' medical care.
• Communicates with clinical staff regarding clients' medical concerns.
• Works directly with clients in providing medical services and interpreting medical information.
• Provides direct client care of medical assessment, implementation of medical orders, communicable and infectious disease reporting in accordance with the law.
• Provides public health and screening protocols.
• Provides and documents medical consultation, assessment, examination, and treatment planning and review consistency with agency policy and requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) currently registered by the New York State Department.
• At least one year of experience, or comparable training in integrated mental health and substance use services.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation:
