Job summary

Glendive Medical Center in Glendive, MT is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join the Long-Term Care team. You will provide direct patient care under RN direction, contribute to care planning, and support residents and families with compassionate, high-quality nursing.

This full-time role requires three 12-hour shifts per week, weekend/holiday rotation, and starting wage of $26.14+ per hour plus differentiations, with opportunities for incentives and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Glendive Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Long-Term Care team. In this role, you'll provide direct nursing care, support resident health and well-being, and work closely with providers, residents, families, and fellow caregivers to deliver high-quality care.

About the Role

As an LPN at GMC, you will provide direct patient care and assist in coordinating treatment plans under the direction of Registered Nurses and healthcare providers.

What You'll Do

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and care plans
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the appropriate healthcare team members
• Perform nursing procedures, including wound care, catheter care, tube feedings, and other treatments within scope of practice
• Assess resident needs and contribute to care planning and ongoing evaluations
• Document resident care and clinical observations accurately and timely
• Respond to resident requests and provide compassionate support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care
• Supervise and provide guidance to CNAs and other direct care staff
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, facility policies, and safety regulations
