Position Details

• Location: Carteret County Jail
• Position: Full-Time LPN
• Schedule: 12-hour Day Shift Rotation (6am - 6pm) with Alternating Weekends
• Sign-on & Retention Bonus available

Responsibilities

1. Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress, chart results, establish nursing plans, and work within State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and with Physician/Provider(s)
2. Administer prescribed medications according to nursing standards & correctional regulations
3. Follow established treatment plans
4. Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and critical thinking
