Job summary

Serenity Spring Senior Living Scandia Village is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for open Day shifts (6am-2:30pm) with weekday and weekend options. Sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered.

The LPN will perform nursing functions within licensure scope and work closely with the nursing team in a dynamic care setting. Requirements include completion of an accredited practical nursing program and current WI LPN license, with at least 1 year of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current Wisconsin LPN license.
• Nursing experience: 1 year preferred.
• Valid LPN certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing functions within the LPN scope.
• Administer medications and treatments per policies.

LPN POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Performs nursing functions within scope of LPN licensure
• Strong LPN skills required
• Works closely with all members of the nursing team and must have the ability to adapt to changing day to day environment/clinical settings
• Administering medications and treatments in compliance with federal, state, local, and facility policies
• Maintaining confidentiality and rights of residents, family, employee, and facility information in compliance with HIPPA policies and applicable regulations
• Interacting cooperatively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff

LPN POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of an accredited school of practical nursing
• Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) in the State of WI
• Required experience for Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ): Nursing: 1 year
