Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation in Jefferson, North Carolina is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for the PM shift to join our compassionate care team. We offer a $5000 sign-on bonus for full-time roles, plus referral bonuses and flexible scheduling options.

The LPN will deliver direct nursing care, supervise CNAs, pass medications, and perform assessments and treatments in accordance with state and federal guidelines. North Carolina licensure or a compact license is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid LPN license in North Carolina or a compact license.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to pass medications and complete assessments.

Responsibilities

The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained. This position involves passing medication and completing assessments and treatments, as well as documenting the provision of these services and occasionally participating in activities of daily living care or assisting the Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

The ideal candidate would have long-term care experience, a positive attitude and bedside manner, and a love for working with people.The candidate must possess a valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina or a compact license that allows you to practice in North Carolina.
