Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Clinic – Full-time

Department: Nursing – Clinic
Reports To: Clinic Manager
Location: Newton Family and Pediatric Clinic

Position Overview

We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering technical nursing while working closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team. You’ll serve patients of all ages—pediatric to geriatric—ensuring safe, high-quality, and supportive care.

Duties
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care

  • Assist in evaluating patient needs and carry out appropriate nursing interventions.

  • Educate patients and their families on medications, self-care techniques, and disease management.

  • Create a safe, secure, and supportive environment for patients.

  • Document nursing care accurately and thoroughly.

  • Maintain age-appropriate care standards for all patients.

  • Participate in ongoing training, certifications (including CPR), and emergency preparedness.

  • Promote effective teamwork and a positive clinic atmosphere.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program

  • Active and unrestricted LPN license in Mississippi

  • Current CPR certification

  • Previous clinic or healthcare experience preferred

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills
