Job summary

Avera Behavioral Health Center-Sioux Falls is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a multidisciplinary team in a rotating shifts schedule. The position emphasizes compassionate care and coordination with other health care professionals to move health forward for patients.

Responsibilities include patient data collection, care plan development, and implementing nursing interventions while maintaining safety and quality of care. Active LPN license is required by hire.

A Brief Overview

The LPN practices under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, licensed physician, or other health care provider. The LPN organizes and directs those aspects of care for which he/she is accountable; communicating and coordinating care with well-defined nursing diagnoses, including all health team members.
