Job summary

Avera Behavioral Health Center-Sioux Falls is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join a multidisciplinary team. The LPN provides patient-focused care, conducts focused nursing assessments, and collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other staff to implement and adjust the care plan.

The role emphasizes safe nursing practices, effective communication, and patient education. Shifts vary, with a strong focus on coordinated care and advocacy for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and conducts a focused nursing assessment of the health status of a patient.

Pay Range: The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience. $24.50 - $33.75

A Brief Overview

The LPN practices under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, licensed physician, or other health care provider. The LPN organizes and directs those aspects of care for which he/she is accountable; communicating and coordinating care with well-defined nursing diagnoses, including all health team members.
