Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, Arkansas, is seeking a Behavioral Health LPN to join our dedicated team on a PRN basis. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with the care team to support patients' wellbeing.

This role supports adults ages 18 to 64 through a multidisciplinary approach, emphasizing compassionate, patient-centered care in a behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgement and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• One year of previous behavioral health or nursing experience preferred.
• Active Arkansas LPN license (or compact state) required; PSOR licensure updates if relocating.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.

Responsabilités

How you'll contribute

A Behavioral Health LPN who excels in this role:

• Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What we are looking for:

• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
• Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Experience: One year previous experience preferred
• Licenses: Active Arkansas or compact state LPN license required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• Education: Associate's Degree required
