Position Summary: The Behavioral Health unit at Spring View Hospital is a 12-bed unit focused on teamwork and effective communication. You will provide specialized care to critically ill patients, utilizing your skills and advanced technology to impact patient wellbeing.

The LPN demonstrates professional development and clinical competency, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under RN supervision.

• Make and document nursing observations.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the nursing care plan.
• Implement aspects of the nursing care plan.
• Collaborate with RNs and providers.
• Coordinate patient care, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies within scope of practice.
• Communicate with patients.
• Provide patient and family education relevant to their condition, as delegated by RN.
• Set up, utilize, and maintain equipment and supplies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an LPN Program

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 1 week of hire

• Current LPN license in Kentucky
