Washington Regional Urgent Care is looking for a dedicated and compassionate LPN to join our dynamic healthcare team in Harrison, AR.

ABOUT WASHINGTON REGIONAL URGENT CARE:
Washington Regional Urgent Care is an affiliate of Urgent Team, providing quality and affordable family healthcare at over 80 locations across the Southeast. Our centers are open seven days a week and are Accredited Care Centers, recognizing our commitment to safety and quality.

JOB SUMMARY:
Assist physicians and providers in performing nurse procedures for the comfort and wellbeing of patients. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, administering medications, and keeping charts current. Full-time team members work 36-40 hours each week, including every-other weekend.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

  • Greeting patients and preparing them for examination or procedure.
  • Assisting with the preparation of supplies and equipment.
  • Giving injections and administering prescribed medications.
  • Maintaining patient files and records.
  • Assisting with scheduling of tests and treatments.
  • Collecting, documenting, and delivering lab specimens.
  • Notifying patients of test results and follow-up appointments.
  • Cleaning and restocking exam/treatment rooms.
  • Instructing patient and family regarding medications and treatment.
  • Maintaining inventory of medications and supplies.
  • Responding to and screening telephone calls.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
• A degree from an accredited school of practical nursing
• AR State or Compact LPN License
• BLS Certification
