Join Baptist Health Urgent Care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Conway, AR. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our healthcare team.

Job Summary

The LPN will greet patients, activate patient files, and support patients and staff. Full-time shifts are 36-40 hours/week, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. PRN staff work on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients, prepare them for exams, record health history, and note abnormalities.
• Assist with supplies, equipment, and support physicians during treatments and tests.
• Administer injections, medications, and monitor patient reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charts.
• Schedule tests, arrange referrals, and obtain pre-authorizations.
• Collect and deliver lab specimens, and communicate test results.
• Restock exam rooms, follow infection control policies, and instruct patients on medications and treatments.
• Assist with physical exams, order prescriptions, and monitor inventory and equipment.
• Screen calls, triage patients, and ensure departmental flow.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensed as an LPN in accordance with state regulations.
• Preferred: minimum of two years’ experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
