Job summary

Ecumen St. Benedict's Community in St. Cloud, MN is hiring a Part-Time or Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care in Assisted Living and Memory Care settings.

The role includes medication administration, documentation, and directing nursing staff on shift. The LPN will collaborate with the Director of Nursing/Clinical Director, operate 64 hours every two weeks with an every-other-weekend rotation, and ensure safety, compliance, and compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited nursing program and current LPN licensure in the state of work.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents within LPN scope, including meds and treatments.
• Coordinate and direct resident care and liaise with other departments.
• Assist RN with assessments, documentation, and data collection.
• Administer medications and monitor resident condition, reporting changes promptly.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area; respond to safety hazards.

Full -Time LPN, Licensed Practical Nurse l Assisted Living and Memory Care l 64 hours/ 2 weeks, 10am - 6:30pm l With an every other weekend rotation

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing nursing care to residents/patients, including medications and treatment administration, documentation, and other therapeutic interventions under the direction of the Director of Nursing/Clinical Director. This position is responsible for providing direction to Nursing Assistants, Resident Assistants, Trained Medication Assistants, and other clinical staff on unit/shift.

Schedule Options:

• Part-Time 32 hours/2 weeks 10:00am - 6:30pm, Every other weekend rotation

Pay: The targeted pay range for this job is $29.00 - $35.00 per hour. Ecumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay including experience, qualifications, and, when applicable, certifications, licenses, and education.

• Provides nursing care to residents/patients within the scope of practice of a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Responsible for coordination and direction of resident/patient care. Coordinates care and services with other departments/providers from the time of admission to discharge.
• Assists Registered Nurse with completion of assessments, documentation, and data collection within scope of practice and acting timely on findings.
• Administers medications and completes treatments as ordered. Observes and monitors resident’s condition and reports changes as appropriate. Ensures that all physicians’ orders are signed and implemented within specified time frames.
• Maintains safety of all residents/patients and team members. Responds appropriately to safety hazards and reports any issues to the appropriate person. Ensures that all staff follows the infection control policy and procedure.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, safe and efficiently organized work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing for the Licensed Practical Nurse program
• Current LPN licensure in the state in which they are working
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience providing senior care/healthcare setting
