Elim Wellspring Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The role focuses on compassionate, high-quality care for older adults and includes college tuition assistance to advance from LPN to RN, plus student loan repayment opportunities.

The position is part-time with days shifts available. You will administer medications, collaborate with a dedicated team, and ensure the best possible outcomes for residents in a nonprofit community.

Qualifications

Wage Range: $28.41 - $32.22 per hour based on experience

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements, and evaluates resident care plans.
• Recognizes and manages common geriatric conditions.
• Supervises TMAs and Nursing Aides.
• Maintains respectful, professional interactions with residents, families, and staff.
• Administers and monitors medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Manages medication and supply inventory according to policy.
• Documents care using electronic charting systems.
• Communicates significant changes in resident condition to appropriate parties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:
• Current Minnesota LPN license in good standing.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively.
• Passion for providing quality nursing care to older adults.
