Job description

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Allpro Homecare TN is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to become part of our team and join our mission of providing quality non-medical homecare to our veteran population.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of in-home care Veteran clients
  • Assess clients’ conditions and chart observations, and perform evaluation tasks
  • Educate clients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures, and make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the client’s quality of life
  • Staff Supervisory Visits
  • Complete appropriate and timely documentation of all client care, including progress note, summaries, and per state requirements
  • Provide effective communication to clients, their family members, and other team members

Qualifications:

  • Current state license in good standing as a LPN
  • TB up to date
  • Current CPR certification
  • Compassionate, friendly demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current driver’s license and reliable transportation
