Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered

• Monitor residents and identify changes in condition

• Communicate changes in resident condition to appropriate clinical staff

• Complete nursing documentation accurately and timely

• Follow individualized resident care plans

• Work closely with RNs, CNAs, physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as assigned

• Maintain resident safety, dignity, and comfort

• Communicate professionally with residents and family members

• Follow facility policies and applicable nursing standards

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality, resident-centered care

LPN Qualifications

• Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

• Previous experience in skilled nursing, nursing home, rehabilitation, long-term care, healthcare, or senior care preferred

• Strong clinical and nursing skills

• Compassion for elderly and geriatric residents

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliable attendance and dependability

• Team-oriented attitude

• Commitment to providing high-quality resident care

• Ability to work assigned shifts and required weekend rotations
