Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in North Chesterfield, VA is seeking overnight registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to join our detox and residential treatment teams. You will provide quality medical care through admission, treatment and discharge, dispense medications, and coordinate with medical and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care.

This full-time, on-site role offers hourly pay of $35–$38, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities to grow within a nationwide network

Qualifications

• Diploma program completed (post-high school).
• Current RN or LPN licensure in-state or compact with multistate privileges.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and efficient work style.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care through admission, treatment and discharge.
• Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medications, and maintain clear med logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams for coordinated care.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.

What You'll Do

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings

What We're Looking For

• Minimum one year diploma program post - high school
• Current RN or LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles
