Job summary

Jiffy Lube International, Inc. is seeking a licensed practical nurse for a LTACH assignment in Abilene, TX. This 13-week contract role offers hourly pay and the chance to deliver high-quality nursing care in a supportive team environment.

The position requires LPN licensure in the assignment state or a compact license, BLS, and relevant acute care experience. You will work in collaboration with RNs to manage patient care and education.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• LPN license in state of assignment or compact license required.
• BLS Certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Must be experienced with ventilators and tracheostomy.
• Monitor and assess patient status, including vital signs.
• Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding their care and treatment.
• Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
• Coordinate patient care and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Promote wellness and disease prevention for patients and families.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship


• 1+ Medical Surgical and Medical Surgical / ICU Experience.


• LPN license in state of assignment


• BLS Certification
