Job summary

Open Arms Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the 7 PM–7 AM shift at our Ooltewah, TN location. This full-time role includes paid orientation and a commitment to caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will administer medications, monitor conditions, and support the team in ISPs and daily living activities. A Tennessee LPN license, valid driver's license, and certifications (BLS, PCM) within specified timelines are required.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee LPN license required.
• Valid driver's license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• PCM certification within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor health conditions, vital signs, and documentation.
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies.
• Support physician appointments and follow physician orders.
• Train and support staff on health-related needs.
• Participate in ISPs and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Assist with daily living needs when necessary.
