Your Role as an LPN

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Rose View, you will:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being.
• Supervise and guide Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other team members in delivering resident care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with facility protocols.
• Document resident care services accurately and timely in patient and department records.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident needs and emergencies.
• Monitor and evaluate resident conditions, reporting changes to the Director of Nursing (DON) or Unit Manager.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents, their families, and your team.
• Uphold infection control standards and comply with state and federal regulations.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required).
• Experience:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care or in-patient setting (preferred).
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to resident care and well-being.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Point Click Care (PCC) for documentation.
