The Neville Center at Fresh Pond is a Five Star, Joint Commission, American Healthcare Association Award-winning, short-term rehab, long-term, and skilled nursing care community. We are conveniently located on the Cambridge/Belmont line. We are dedicated to our residents and team members - come join us!

We are seeking highly motivated and qualified part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing department.

LPN’s Sign on Bonus - $3,000 for full-time, prorated for part-time.

As the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), some of your essential job responsibilities include:

1. Assessing the health care needs of the resident, making a nursing diagnosis, and transitioning this, through collaboration with the nursing team, into an interdisciplinary plan of care utilizing all resources available. Communicating this plan to all care providers to ensure continuity of care for residents.
2. Establishing and maintaining functional communications with staff, other disciplines, residents, families, medical staff, and the community.
3. Assessing the effect of medications and treatments and monitoring these effects to provide appropriate feedback to the interdisciplinary team and medical managers to continuously provide the resident with the treatment appropriate to their individual needs.
4. Using the Electronic Health Record - PCC preferred.
5. Understanding infection control, fire and disaster policies, as well as other facility and/or state and federal policies and practices that provide a safe environment for residents, the community, and staff.
6. Protecting resident rights and treating residents, staff, and the community with respect and dignity while handling resident and facility property and information with honesty, confidentiality, and respect.

Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available.
