Key Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

  • Administer nursing care within scope of practice, under RN or physician supervision, including medication administration and assisting with examinations and treatments.
  • Maintain medication records and accountability.
  • Observe, report, and document residents’ conditions.
  • Assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and resident mobility.
  • Apply safety and infection control measures.
  • Provide guidance and training to hospital aides.
  • Participate in meetings and team conferences.
