Job summary

Tarboro Health & Rehabilitation is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses for the PM shift to join our caregiving team. We offer flexible schedules, referral bonuses, and a sign-on bonus for full-time night shift.

The LPN will provide direct nursing care, supervise nursing assistants, administer medications, perform assessments, and document treatments while ensuring quality care in accordance with regulations. Experience in long-term care and a caring bedside manner are valued.

Qualifications

• LPN license in NC or a compact license required.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Pass medications, perform assessments and treatments, and document care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.

The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical Nurse's role is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. The Licensed Practical Nurse's role involves passing medication and completing assessments and treatments, as well as documenting the provision of these services and occasionally participating in activities of daily living care or assisting the nursing assistants.

The ideal candidate would have long term care experience, a positive attitude and bedside manner, and a love for working with people.

Mustposess a valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina (NC) or a compact license that allows you to practice in NC.
