Job summary

Shores of Worthington is hiring Licensed Practical Nurse candidates to join our Residential Health Care Facility in Worthington, Minnesota.

Shifts include Day (6A-2:30P) and Evening (2P-10:30P) with Part Time and Full Time options. You will provide direct patient care, supervise CNAs, and administer medications.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license from Minnesota Board of Nursing.

• Administer medications and support wound/treatment care.

The Licensed Practical Nurse responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and facility guidelines
• Supervising CNAs
• Medication administration
• Wound and treatment care
• Provide general nursing care to patients in accordance to the facility nursing policy and procedure
• Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan for RN Nurse review

Qualifications & Skills of Licensed Practical Nurse

• Current license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents
