Job summary

The Laurels of Norworth is seeking an LPN to join our care team in Ohio. You will supervise CNAs and STNAs, administer medications, and monitor guests’ health to respond quickly to changes in status.

A compassionate, patient-focused approach is essential as you help develop individualized care plans. Responsibilities include performing nursing interventions to stabilize conditions, contributing to assessments, and communicating with physicians to implement orders promptly.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in the state of Ohio.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other team members who care for guests.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests.
• Assess the health of guests and notify the physician of changes in status. Promptly implement new orders.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest’s condition and/or prevent complications.
• Contribute to the guest’s assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a plan of care.
