Job summary

TEEMA is seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment in a correctional healthcare setting in Wisconsin. The role focuses on medication administration and management, ensuring safe and compliant care for patients.

The schedule is 40 hours weekly, on-site, with shifts from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM and weekend/holiday rotations required. Candidates must hold an active LVN/LPN license in the state and have experience with medication

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LVN/LPN license in Wisconsin.
• Experience with medication administration and medication management preferred.
• Ability to work in a secure/correctional healthcare environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Pass Keep on Person (KOP) medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Audit medication carts to ensure medications are properly maintained, organized, and accounted for.
• Coordinate and move medications when patients are transferred between cells, units, or buildings.

• Follow all established medication management, security, and patient safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other members of the healthcare team.
