Job summary

Avantara Watertown is seeking an LPN Staff Nurse to join our caring team. You will provide medication administration and patient care according to individual care plans, conduct resident assessments, lead a nursing team, and advocate for residents ensuring safety and comfort.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time, starting wages at $24.00 per hour, and shift differentials of $1.00 (Sun-Thu 6 PM–6 AM) and $1.50 (Fri-Sat 6 PM–6 AM), along with competitive benefits and 401K with employer

Qualifications

• Unencumbered SD LPN license.
• Prior LTC experience is preferable but training provided.
• Willing to invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication administration and routine nursing care per care plan.
• Conduct resident assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Act as a team leader and advocate for residents to ensure safety and comfort.

As a LPN Staff Nurse you are the backbone of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect atAvantara Watertownby ensuring residents receive the medication and care they need as directed by their individual care plan, conducting resident assessments, being a team leader, and advocating for your residents. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, an unencumbered State ofSouth Dakota LPN license. Prior LTC experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
