Job summary

Waldorf Center in Waldorf, MD is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the night shift (11pm–7am). Under supervision of an RN, you will deliver nursing care and help ensure positive clinical outcomes for residents.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, contributing to assessments and care plans, administering medications, and supervising unlicensed staff. Requirements: graduate of an approved LPN program, active or pending state licensure, and current BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification as required.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
