Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide efficient nursing care under RN supervision in a dynamic care setting. The role emphasizes data collection, assessments, medication administration, and coordination with licensed staff to ensure positive patient outcomes.

The position supports multiple shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a full-time and part-time capacity, with a commitment to high-quality service for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
