Job summary

Ontario Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Canandaigua, NY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for on-site care. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with base pay $29.50-$35 plus $0.50 evening/night shift differential.

Daily Pay and travel reimbursement for gas and tolls are provided. Responsibilities include admitting residents, recording vitals, administering medications, wound care, supervising CNAs, and assisting with daily activities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid NY LPN license.
• Must be in good standing with NY State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Collect information from new residents to admit them.
• Record health details including vitals and temperature.
• Administer medications and injections as needed.
• Treat wounds and bedsores as required.
• May supervise CNAs.
• Assist residents with dressing and personal hygiene.
• Monitor residents' intake and output.

DUTIES:

• Collecting required information from new Residents to be admitted.
• Recording health details of Residents; including vitals & temperature.
• Administering medications and injections to Residents as needed.
• Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores as needed.
• May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Helps Residents get dressed & take care of personal hygiene.
• Monitors Residents’ food and liquid intake and output.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Valid LPN State license.
• Must be in good standing with State Registry.
