Job summary

The Hillcrest HealthCare System is seeking a day shift, full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Cardiology Clinic in Tulsa, OK. The LPN will provide nursing care under supervision, support age-appropriate patient care, and contribute to plan-of-care development.

• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit. This individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to collect data reflective of the patient’s status.
• The LPN is to participate in the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and high quality patient care.
• He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act

Job Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Licensed Practical Nursing,
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
