Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care, a growing provider with over 150 locations, seeks an LPN to support examinations, administer medications, and help manage patient flow in a fast-paced urgent-care setting. The role requires an active LPN license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and long shifts.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a busy medical office preferred, but not required.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to perform all duties with no accommodations, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and twisting, and standing 10–12 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Assists the practitioner with examinations, procedures and other duties.
• Administers medications and injections.
• Collects and prepares specimens for laboratory and assists with results.
• Manages patient flow through the office.
• Prepares exam rooms, sterilizes equipment, and stocks supplies.
• Responsible for patient call backs and attends required staff trainings.
• Assists with other duties as needed.
• Travel up to 25% as required.

• Attends facility required staff training and meetings
• Assists with other assigned duties as needed

Minimum Education and Experience

• Prior experience in busy medical office preferred, but not required
