WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join a busy medical office in New York. You will assist practitioners, administer medications, collect specimens, and help manage patient flow.

The role requires stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and standing for long shifts in a fast-paced environment. We offer competitive pay starting at $26 per hour, plus benefits and growth opportunities as we continue to expand across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Degree from accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• Active LPN license.
• Ability to perform all job duties with physical stamina (lift up to 50 lbs, stand 10–12 hours).
• Strong critical thinking and excellent customer service in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the practitioner with examinations, procedures, and other duties as assigned.
• Administer medications and injections.
• Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory; assist in results management.
• Efficiently manage patient flow through the office.
• Prepare exam rooms, including maintenance, sterilization, and stocking of supplies.
• Responsible for patient call back and attendance at required trainings.
• Assists with other duties as needed.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Prior experience in a busy medical office preferred, but not required
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
• Ability to perform all job duties with no accommodations, including lifting up to 50 pounds, repeatedly bend and twist, and stand for 10-12 hours per day.

Education and Certification

• Degree from accredited School of Practical Nursing
• Required License or Certification: Active LPN License
