Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated LPN to support clinicians with examinations, procedures, and patient care. The role includes administering medications, preparing specimens, and managing patient flow in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Requirements include an active LPN license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand long hours, and participate in staff training. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Concord location with benefits and growth opportunities.

• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to perform all job duties with no accommodations, including lifting up to 50 pounds, repeatedly bending and twisting, and standing for 10-12 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Assists the practitioner with examinations, procedures, and other duties as assigned.
• Administers medications and injections.
• Collects and prepares specimens for laboratory as well as assists in the management of the results.
• Efficiently manages patient flow through the office.
• Prepares exam rooms, including maintenance, sterilization of equipment, and stocking of supplies.
• Responsible for patient call-back.
• Attends facility-required staff training and meetings.
• Assists with other assigned duties as needed.
• 0-25% Travel Requirements.

• Prior experience in a busy medical office is preferred, but not required.

Education:

• Degree from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.

Required License or Certification:
