Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support physicians, manage patient flow, and assist with examinations in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

You will administer medications, collect specimens, and help keep exam rooms stocked and sterile while delivering compassionate care. Benefits include competitive pay, parental leave, continuing education, medical coverage, 401(k) with company match, and travel up to 25% as required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist practitioner with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and injections.
• Collect and prepare specimens for lab; assist with results.

• Responsible for patient call-back and follow-up.
• Attend required staff trainings and meetings.

Responsibilities:

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Prior experience in a busy medical office is preferred, but not required.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to perform all job duties with no accommodations, including lifting up to 50 pounds, repeatedly bending and twisting, and standing for 10-12 hours per day.

Education:

• Degree from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.

Required License or Certification:

• Active LPN License.
