Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems, particularly PCC.
• Ability to perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, catheter care, injections; CPR cert required.
• Excellent patient assessment and compassionate communication, including with disabilities or cognitive impairments.
• Infection control awareness and knowledge of long-term care regulations.
• Ability to work independently in high-pressure scenarios like emergency or urgent care.

• Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection, processing, catheterization, and wound suturing while maintaining aseptic techniques

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and patient education to promote optimal recovery and well-being

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for accurate documentation and billing purposes

• Skilled in using EMR/EHR systems like PCC and familiarity with medical imaging and laboratory processes enhances your effectiveness

• Demonstrated ability to perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, catheter care, medication administration via injections or CPR certification required

• Excellent patient assessment skills coupled with compassionate caregiver communication tailored to individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia or behavioral health needs

• Knowledge of infection control practices and long-term care regulations ensures safe practice environments
