Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Staunton, VA is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to support individuals with I/DD and co-occurring behavioral health needs at our Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH). You will administer medications, conduct nursing assessments, educate clients, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide person-centered care.

A $10,000 sign-on and retention bonus is offered, along with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current valid, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse license in Virginia.
• Experience or knowledge in mental health and I/DD care is preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills required.

We are seeking compassionate and motivated full‑time Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Virginia REACH team in supporting individuals with I/DD and mental health needs at our warm, home‑like Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) in Staunton, VA.

Schedule Options

• Monday – Friday, 3pm‑11pm
• Monday – Friday, 11pm‑7am

Your Role in Our Mission

• Provide compassionate medical and nursing support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and co‑occurring behavioral health needs
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with clinical protocols
• Conduct nursing assessments
• Educate and empower individuals regarding their mental and physical health
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, person‑centered care
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all nursing services and observations
• Uphold compliance with all regulatory and clinical care standards to ensure the highest quality of service

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive rate: $26.00 – $31.00 per hour for this full‑time, non‑exempt position

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Crisis prevention and intervention services preferred
• Transportation: A valid driver's license and car insurance for occasional transportation to appointments
