Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a full-time LPN for day shift (6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) at Fox Run: The Center for Children and Adolescents in St. Clairsville, OH.

This 100-bed facility emphasizes compassionate nursing care with a focus on behavioral health for children and adolescents, employing innovative therapies and dedicated staff. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, licensed in Ohio, with prior psychiatric health-care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice practical nursing by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
• 1 year of experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse in psychiatry.
• Demonstrate knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures.
• Deliver care aligned with age-specific criteria, safety, and related aspects for patients served.

Responsibilities and Duties

• LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.
• Knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures essential.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served.
