Job summary

Behavioral Health Network, Inc. is seeking an on-site Licensed Practical Nurse in Western Massachusetts to provide basic medical care, health monitoring and medication management for clients in recovery from substance use disorders.

You will maintain nursing notes and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and safety. The role requires MA LPN licensure, experience with SUD programs, and a strong commitment to ethics and patient care.

Qualifications

• Active LPN licensure by the MA Board of Registration.
• Experience with substance use disorder programs.
• Knowledge of ethics and legal parameters when working with substance abuse clients (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide basic medical care, health monitoring and med management for clients in recovery from SUD.
• Maintain nursing notes, med logs, incident reports and progress notes.
• Document communication with providers, referrals and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with case managers, PCPs, outpatient centers and mental health professionals.
• Participate in team meetings and support clinical and recovery staff.
• Help maintain a structured, safe, recovery-oriented environment.

Pay or shift range: $35 USD to $38 USD

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Here’s what you will do:

• Play an essential support role in providing basic medical care, health monitoring and medication management for clients in recovery from substance use disorders.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, med logs, incident reports, and progress notes.
• Document communication with providers, referrals, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with case managers, primary care providers, outpatient addiction treatment centers, and mental health professionals.

Participate in team meetings and collaborate with clinical and recovery staff.

Help maintain a structured, safe, and recovery-oriented environment.

Who you are:

• Active licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration (required).
• Experience with substance use disorder programs.
• Working knowledge of ethics and legal parameters of working with substance abuse clients (preferred).

PAY: $35.00 - 38.00 per hour
