Job summary

Somerset Public Schools is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our school nursing team in Somerset, Massachusetts. The LPN will work with the school nurse, students, families, and staff to provide high-quality health services and support a safe learning environment for all students.

Starting date is immediately. Position is full-time with a hourly pay of $30–$32. Massachusetts LPN license and CPR/AED certification are required, with experience in a school setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively with the school nurse, families, staff, and healthcare providers as appropriate.
• Assist with the management of students with acute, chronic, and complex health needs.
• Respond appropriately to health-related emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
• Support the implementation of individualized healthcare plans and emergency care plans.
• Promote student health, wellness, safety, and independence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school nurse or administration.
