Job summary

Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team in Smyrna, TN. The role includes providing nursing care, supervising nursing assistants, administering medications, and maintaining records in a safe, orderly unit.

A sign-on bonus of $1,500 is offered. We value accurate documentation, timely responses to residents, and adherence to administrative policies while delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse by the state he/she is working in or have a temporary license.
• Ability to understand and carry out exact, detailed oral and written instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care following established standards and policies.
• Directs and assists nursing assistants on the unit.
• Administers medications after orientation and instruction; maintains medication records.
• Observes residents for signs and symptoms of adverse drug reactions.
• Keeps unit clean, safe and organized; responds to call lights as required.

Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is looking for a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their ever-growing team.

Job Description

Provides nursing care in accordance with standards established by nursing service and administrative policies; directs, provides assistance, observes and monitors nursing assistants on his/her unit; administers medications after appropriate orientation and instruction; maintains accurate medication records and observes residents for signs and symptoms of adverse drug reactions; maintains a clean, safe and organized unit; answer call lights as required; other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned within the scope of his/her education.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse by the state he/she is working in or have a temporary license; working knowledge of nursing techniques; ability to apply therapeutic treatments as prescribed; ability to understand and carry out exact, detailed oral and written instruction; ability to keep records and make reports.
