Legend Senior Living in Saint Charles, MO is seeking an outstanding Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our memory care residents. You will assist with medication management, service planning, and supervising the nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.

You will participate in assessments, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and assist with move-in/move-out activities while providing direct care as needed. Excellent communication and CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN nursing license
• CPR certification as required by state
• Prefer: 1 year of prior experience
• Prefer supervisory experience in memory care

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care
• Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed
• Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications
• Providing direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or during on-call rotation
• Relaying resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS--Licensed Practical Nurse

• Required: current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state
• Prefer: 1 year of prior relevant experience
• Prefer: supervisory experience, preferably in memory care.
