Whispering Pines, part of Eden Senior Care, is recruiting a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our team in Ripon, Wisconsin. Full-time and part-time positions with a $5,000 sign-on bonus are available.

We offer shift differentials and a tuition reimbursement program up to $5,250 per year to support ongoing education. The LPN will provide direct and indirect patient care, oversee nursing assistants, administer medications, and document care per facility policy.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Hold a Current State License as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an LPN in a long term care setting.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Direct the day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered and document administration.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physician, supervisor, and family.
• Complete required charting for admission, discharge, transfer per policy.

• $1.00 PM and NOC during week-days
• $1.50 PM and NOC weekends

Job Description

• To provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, prevention, and evaluation.
• Direct the day to day activities of the nursing assistants
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician and perform other drug administration.
• Communicate changes in patient clinical condition with physician, nursing supervisor and family
• Complete required record keeping upon residents admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policy

Are you:

• Customer service orientated
• A Licensed Practical Nurse- LPN, LPN Nurse, LVN, New Grad LPN, Nursing student, or an LPN Travel Nurse/ Travel Contract LPN that is looking for a permanent facility with great benefits
• Experienced in long-term care preferred
• Able to communicate well in both verbal and written forms
