Job summary

Resorts at Pooler in Pooler, GA is seeking a reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding patient care and support to residents, leveraging their Georgia LPN licensure to deliver high-quality nursing services.

Responsibilities include recording medical history, measuring vital signs, monitoring treatment progress, and assisting with daily activities. Prior nursing experience in a skilled facility and PCC familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• LPN license in Georgia or a compact license is required.
• Successful completion of an LPN licensure program is required.
• Experience in a long-term/skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC (electronic charting) is a plus.
• Compassionate, able to handle stress and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately.
• Take and record vital signs (BP, temp, HR, etc.).
• Observe patients under treatment for progress and medication effects.
• Monitor patient condition and maintain patient charts.
• Assist with daily activities (eating, bathing, etc.).
• Administer injections, medications, dress wounds, and basic care.
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families as needed.
• Communicate with patients and families regarding care and discharge instructions.

Resorts at Pooler is looking to hire reliable and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses, LPNto join our team.

The ideal candidate would be a nurse that is looking to provide outstanding patient care and physical support for patients and residents. To do well in this role you should have your Practical Nursing license in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
• Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
• Assist aailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions

Qualifications

• LPN LICENSE IN THE STATE OF Georgia! or Compact license!
• Successful completion of LPN license program is a must!
• Long-Term/ Skilled Nursing Facility Experience
• Familiarity with PCC
• Compassionate and able to handle stress
• Team Player!
