Job summary

MGA Homecare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the Parkton, North Carolina area to deliver patient care under the nursing process. The role is non-exempt and requires an active NC nursing license, valid CPR, and reliable transportation.

You will communicate patient changes to leadership and follow established MGA policies and procedures. Responsibilities include documenting care, updating nursing plans, and participating in mandated agency activities.

Qualifications

• Active NC nursing license.
• Be flexible, organized and have the ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Provide copy of current TB results or Chest x-ray.
• Provide copy of current CPR certification as per agency policy.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing as ordered on the plan of treatment and nursing care plan.
• Document all care in clinical notes and nursing care plan updates.
• Communicate significant patient changes to the Director of Clinical Services/Clinical Manager.
• Request modifications or additional orders based on patient status and nursing judgment.
• Participate in mandated agency activities as requested by the Agency Director.
• Adhere to MGA policies, procedures and Handbook.
• Report on time and as scheduled to complete work within designated time.
