Job summary

Fox Run Village by Erickson Senior Living in Novi, Michigan is hiring an LPN/LVN to join a dedicated nursing team. The role supports residents in a continuing care retirement community, with day (7am–3:30pm, 32 hrs/wk) and afternoon (3pm–11:30pm, 16 hrs/wk) shifts on an every-other-weekend rotation.

Responsibilities include clinical care, medication administration, care plan updates, and supervising care associates.

Qualifications

• Licensed by State as an LPN (LVN/LP) in Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Strong resident advocacy and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families with a consistent caregiver approach.
• Assess, observe, and document residents' clinical condition.
• Update or modify care plans as needed.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications timely, accurately, and per orders.
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Respond to residents, families, or responsible parties promptly.
• Participate in review of clinical indicators (falls, wounds, nutrition, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader.

Location: Fox Run Village by Erickson Senior Living

We are looking to add one more nurse to our talented team! We are hiring for the following schedule:

• Day Shift - 7am to 3:30pm - 32 hours weekly (4 shifts) with an every other weekend rotation!
• Afternoon Shift - 3pm to 11:30pm - 16 hours weekly (2 shifts) with an every other weekend rotation!

Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). The LPN/LVN is responsible for providing clinical care to residents in the neighborhood according to the nursing standards of practice, board of nursing, and Erickson Senior Living standards.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs and focusing on placing the resident first.
• Assessing, observing, and evaluating resident’s clinical condition, document findings in the resident electronic medical record, and notify the provider and/or RN when necessary.
• Updating or modifying care plans as needed to reflect any changes to a resident’s care and service needs.
• Supervising and leading care associates
• Administering medications timely, accurately, and according to orders.
• Participating in meetings related to resident outcomes and care
• Responding to residents, family, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner
• Participating in the review of clinical indicator reviews – falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader

What You Will Need

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
• Licensed by State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
